Everland 에버랜드, the first Korean amusement park. Known as home to
over 40 heart pounding rides and attraction, adrenaline junkies must love this
place. Its also known for its four seasons garden, Safari world and The Lost
Valley where white tigers, lions, and
bears roams freely and visitors can see the herbivore animal by riding on
amphibious vehicles and even feed their fave animals, Carribean bay, Speedway
which is the first racing car track in korea, Glen Ross Golf Clob, various
festival and entertainments.
Caribbean
bay 캐리비안 베이 as the part of everland theme park where you can enjoy swimming, water
amusement rides, or relax in the hot spring water all year round.

From any subway station to Giheung Station [기흥역] Bundang yellow line and after that transfer to Yongin Everline [용인에버라인] stop at the last station Jondae Everland Station.

Itinerary
Take
subway to go to Giheung station and transfer to Yongin Everline, take shuttle
bus to go to Carribean Bay and buy the ticket, get disc 10% for foreigner just
by shown this coupon at the ticket booth and you can enter to Everland for free
after 5pm. Or you can buy everland and safari world disc voucher at seoul for 33% off here or simply use the gyeonggi coupon book here (valid until 2017)
CARIBBEAN BAY 캐리비안 베이
After buying your
ticket I recommend heading to the Bay coin counter. Bay coin is a waterproof
wristband with barcode so instead of carrying your money into the waterpark
>.<. The wristband are available in 30.000 won, 50.000 won, or 100.000
won denominations, its better to divide the amounts into small units, incase
you are separated with your companions.
It can be use in restaurants,
rental shops, and gift shops, and when you leave the park, the remaining
balance will be refunded.
If want to take a
picture and don’t want to risk your phone or dslr, I recommend to get a
waterproof phone case, it available in any gift store inside the park or you
can purchase it online and bring it. Believe me it surely helps a lot!
Locker renting cost
around 1000 won and 2000 won deposit so you will get 2000won back after the key
safely returned.
Another things I would
like to recommend is renting a safety jacket for 2000 won you will get 1000 won
back when return it. Because you can’t go into certain pool without it.
The park itself rather
large, and some pool and attraction need long waiting time in the summer (we
wait for 1 hour) if you understand Korean this app is a good choice for see the
waiting time of all activities in the park. And if you are going to be here
entire day with a group of friend, renting a hut and using as a base while waiting
also a good ideas.

EVERLAND 에버랜드
I enter everland after
5 because of the free admission ticket, the theme park itself is huge!!! I
would like to explore everythings here, and most of the light festival will be
held on night.. but since my leg battery already low due to vigorous exercise
at the carribean bay, this park also have a lot of place to take a pretty
picture and not to mention the heart pounding amusement. Will be back again for
trying all of the zone #evilgrin teehee

DONGSUWON GALBI AND
TRADITIONAL MAKGUKSU 옛골 동수원 솣볼갈비 봉평 전통 막국수 전문점
We had ur dinner at
this restaurant, its located near everland and its quite affordable especially for Korean beef ribs, Suwon galbi was known
for its tender and delicious also large strips of galbi, and this resto boast
about their old traditional way to process the meat. Instead of soy sauce, salt
was used to dip and marinate it. They also use the rough salt instead of the
fine salt which make the crisp taste to the meat.
