Winter at Pyeongchang - Daegwallyeong Sheep Ranch

Pyeongchang (평창), a county of Gangwon Province located around 3 hours’ by car and 1 hour 45 min to Jinbu station by KTX from Seoul. It known as the winter destination because of its snow covered landscape during winter. The vast ski slopes and fairy tale-looking resorts continue to draw visitors today. It is indeed an excellent place for winter vacation especially nowadays when climate at Seoul and incheon is hard to see snow coming. Actually not only in winter, summer in Korea is the way too hot and Pyeongchang is worth checking out, especially for those who would like to explore beyond Seoul and escape the summer heat since pyeongchang known for 6-7 degrees lower than Seoul even in the summer.

Nonsan Sunshine Studio 논산 션샤인스튜디오 - an Instant Time Travel Switch

Mr. Sunshine, drama that set in the last decade of the Joseon Dynasty about secret Jeoson (the old name for Korea) resistance fighters struggles to protect their nation's sovereignty. Its well written, serious, and only have tiny lil bit of romance but somehow make me keep watching it till the end. When my friend asked if i want to visit Sunshine Studio in Nonsan im super excited. I never been to Nonsan before. This hidden city in the heart of Korea that might be lil bit too far if i want to spent my stay and what i always know is strawberries, just because they said its the best one in the Country. But like what i always feel in the rural area here you can feel people warmth and kindness more than if you stay in cities.

Snowflakes tracking - Deokgyu Mountain - Muju 무주 덕유산 눈꽃 트래킹

 The best part of winter seasons for me is snow, and  i do enjoy is hiking on a snow covered mountain. Of course i'm just a recreational occasional hiker. But the sight of the white snow covered tree and surrounding embrace and refresh the inner child in me.  This might not look much to those of you who get a lot of snowfall and live at the four seasons country but for me the tropical girl is a huge deal. So as long as i live here in Korea, i will enjoy it as much as i can.

Camellia - The Winter Flower

Camellia Flower or 동백꽃 - Dongbaek Kkot in Korean or Tsubaki in Japan, camellia is one of the flowers  that  bloom in the winter to early spring.
